The Federal Authority for Identification, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) has announced that the top students in the UAE can obtain Golden Visas. This initiative is a way for the government to recognize and reward students for their efforts, perseverance, and commitment to acquiring knowledge.
The Golden Visa is a special residence visa that allows foreign individuals to live, work, or study in the UAE and comes with exclusive benefits. The benefits of the Golden Visa would be extended to family members.
As reported by ArabianBusiness.com, high school students will be able to obtain a Golden Visa with an exam score of at least 95%. University students will be eligible for a Golden Visa by graduating with honors and achieving a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 or 3.75.
The government is dedicated to attracting talented students to the UAE and providing them with opportunities for development. Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Authority, stated that graduates who receive Golden Visas will have the opportunity to contribute to the scientific development of the UAE. The Ministry of Education and the Emirates Foundation for School Education will collaborate to select candidates.
